Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Matchday, operated by Péter Fehér, a sole proprietor in British Columbia, Canada ("we", "us"). By using the service you agree to them. Questions: support@matchdayfeed.com.
What the service does
You choose teams and competitions, and we give you a calendar feed URL. Your calendar application fetches that URL periodically, so fixtures appear and update automatically as kickoff times, venues and results change.
Accounts
Following a club requires a verified email address, confirmed by a sign-in link. You are responsible for keeping access to that inbox and for activity under your account. Feed URLs are unguessable but unauthenticated: anyone holding one can read that feed.
Plans and payment
- World Cup and international fixtures are free, with no account required.
- One football club is free with a verified email address.
- Fan covers unlimited football. Pro covers Fan plus every other sport, including the NFL and NHL. Current prices are shown in the app before you pay.
- Paid plans begin with a free trial. We will not charge you before it ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price for your billing period until cancelled.
Payments are processed by Stripe. For subscriptions sold through Stripe's Managed Payments, Stripe is the merchant of record and appears on your statement accordingly. Applicable taxes are calculated and charged at checkout.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in the app. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and is not renewed after that.
We do not give partial refunds for time remaining in a billing period. The free trial exists so you can decide before paying anything. Nothing here limits any refund or cancellation right you have under the consumer law that applies to you, and if Stripe is the merchant of record for your purchase, its refund process applies too.
Deleting your account cancels your subscription immediately and does not refund the current period.
Fixture data, and what we do not promise
Fixtures, kickoff times, venues, broadcast listings and results come from third-party data providers. Schedules change, providers make mistakes, and feeds can be delayed or briefly unavailable. Do not rely on Matchday as your only source for anything that matters, such as travelling to a match. We provide the service "as is", without warranty, and we are not liable for a fixture you miss, for data that turns out to be wrong, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under applicable consumer law.
Acceptable use
Please do not resell or redistribute the feeds, scrape or bulk-download the service, attempt to bypass plan limits, or interfere with its operation. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do, or that use the service unlawfully.
Trademarks
Matchday is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any league, competition or club. Team names, crests and league names are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to identify the fixtures you have chosen to follow.
Changes to the service and these terms
We may change or discontinue features, and may change prices. Price changes affecting an existing subscription will be notified by email before they take effect, and you can cancel before then. If we change these terms materially we will update the date above and notify account holders by email.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, and the courts of British Columbia, Canada have jurisdiction, except where the consumer law of your own country gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.
