Privacy Policy

Matchday turns the teams you follow into a calendar feed that keeps itself up to date. This page explains exactly what we collect to do that, and what we do not.
Matchday is operated by Péter Fehér, a sole proprietor in British Columbia, Canada ("we", "us"). For anything on this page, contact support@matchdayfeed.com.
What we collect

| Your email address, if you provide one | It identifies your account so you can restore your feeds on another device, and it is where the sign-in link is sent. Addresses are normalised for matching (a +tag is stripped, and Gmail addresses have dots removed), so one inbox is one account. |

We never receive your card details. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe; card numbers are entered on Stripe's systems and never reach ours.
What we do not do
- No cookies. Matchday sets none. Your feed list and preferences are kept in your own browser's local storage, which never leaves your device except when you create or update a feed.
- No advertising, no profiling, no data sales. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
- No tracking across other websites. Our analytics (below) is cookieless and cannot follow you off this site.
Analytics
We use umami, a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics service, to count page views and a few product events, such as a feed being created and which competitions are popular. These are aggregate counts. They are not tied to your email address or your feed, and umami does not set cookies or build a cross-site profile.
Who else processes your data
- Amazon Web Services hosts the service and stores its data, in the US West (Oregon) region of the United States.
- Stripe processes payments and, for subscriptions bought through Stripe's Managed Payments, is the merchant of record. Stripe receives your email address and payment details directly from you.
- Resend delivers our transactional email (the sign-in link and a notice before a trial ends). We do not send marketing email.
- umami receives the anonymous, cookieless analytics described above.
Because our servers are in the United States, using Matchday involves your data being transferred there and to the providers listed above.
How long we keep it
Your account, feeds and selections are kept until you delete them, because a calendar feed has to keep working. Sign-in tokens, sign-in links and email counters expire automatically within hours or days. Backups may retain a copy for a short period after deletion.
Deleting your data
Sign in, open the account panel from the top right, and choose Delete account. That cancels any subscription, deletes your account and every feed you own, and cannot be undone. Your calendar app will stop receiving updates, and any feed URL you had subscribed will stop working. You can also delete a single feed from the feeds list, or email support@matchdayfeed.com and we will do it for you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a data protection authority. Email support@matchdayfeed.com to exercise any of them. We will not charge you or degrade the service for asking.
A note on feed URLs
Your feed URL contains a random token and is not password-protected, because calendar applications cannot sign in. Anyone you give that URL to can see the fixtures in that feed. Treat it as private, and delete the feed if you think the link has spread.
Children
Matchday is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes affecting existing accounts will also be sent by email.
